Rahul Jethi, A man of his own making, Rahul is extremely humble and direct with his thoughts, supposedly fits in perfectly with the ethos of BJP. As an Entrepreneur/business man in Sydney, his core business is Banking and Finance. With strong educational background of Civil Engineer and a Graduate in Public Administration and Sociology, an MBA in Sales & Marketing, Rahul has acquired Banking and Financial Planning qualifications in Australia.

Rahul is very well known in Indian and local community because of his business and social interests. He is an active member of the community and is involved in supporting various organizations. Rahul strikes quiet a balance being an active member of Liberal Party of Australia with impactful contribution of suggestions and ideas on various matters pertaining to Indian Australians. He is founding member of Liberal Friends of India a body of Indian Australians supporting Liberal Party.

A Swayamsewak since 8 years old and an ardent supporter of BJP since childhood, Rahul’s focus is on enhancing the BJP’s foot print in Australia. As the Convener/Chairman of OFBJP Australia, a team has been put together of key individuals ideologically aligned with BJP, to promote OFBJP in Australia. After 4 months of hard work the organization started in October 2013. OFBJP Australia has chapters in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and Adelaide.

Balesh Singh Dhankhar, with other dedicated members, laid the foundation of OFBJP Australia. His earnest efforts to strengthen the Indian community in Australia are bringing fruition as OFBJP Australia is a rapidly expanding organisation with its chapters having opened in Victoria and Queensland and other parts of Australia. Serving as President of OFBJP Australia, he is providing strategic leadership, vision and guidance to its members base all across Australia.

Currently based in Sydney, he came to Australia in 2006. He earned his Post Grad. from Indian Institute of Mass Communication in Journalism, and a double Masters from UTS, Sydney.

Committed to the welfare of Indian community, he has been working tirelessly with number of organisations including Hindu Council of Australia, Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh and Friends of India. He is also running an interfaith dialogue forum called ‘Hindu Dialogue’. He has been delivering talks on theological topics as he represents Indian culture and Hindu Dharma in various inter-faith forums. He has played a key role in organizing number of major social events over the years.

Born in Delhi, he hails from Haryana. Being brought up in a Defense family and his passion for journalism and travelling took him to almost all corners of India helping him appreciate the endless vastness of life called Bharat.

A poet and photographer by passion is on his way to publish a book of his writings and an online journal of his art work. He is also professionally trained and passionate about photography and film making.
